Liverpool have to be patient

Liverpool fans I know we accept a lot but we have only just started the season and we have started well. We have expected our team to be 1st because of our new recurits but it is not who is top in September or Christmas but it is who is top at the end of May. We do not have any European football in our way this season so we only have the FA Cup and the League Cup as a 'distraction'. I know winning the Premier League will be hard for us this season but we have the right manager so it can be done. We also now have depth in our squad which is something we haven't had for a while.

We now have 4 decent strikers. When Carroll starts scoring he will score lots for us and in about 2 or 3 seasons I can see him getting 20+ goals for us. We also have Luis Suarez who is a world-class striker and will be up there with the top scorers this season. Another striker which has come back to our club is the pacey Craig Bellamy, after his great performance against Brighton I was very surprised that he didnt play a minute in the Wolves game. He will get goals when they are needed and he is a much more mature player now so i believe he will be better for Liverpool now then he was when he had his first spell at Anfield. Our final striker is Dirk Kuyt who is one of our best players but is very underrated and sadly has been knocked out of the first team after we bought Jordan Henderson. Dirk Kuyt was our top scorer last season and should be given a chance against Everton this weekend.

The reason I have said that Liverpool should be patient is because we have stared well to the 2011/12 season but so have Manchester United and City but they both have Champions League to distract them so they will need to rest players as the season goes on but Liverpool wont need to, and when January comes along if Liverpool add to there squad then they can get a bigger squad and compete for the 2 major trophies near the end of the season. We have a very strong squad and if we can stay in touching distance of the top teams then near the end of the season then we can definiatly challenge for the title but if not I can see us getting 3rd this season.
