summer transfers

So finally the transfer window is open. Well only in England. So lets start with the joint top scorers with Dimitar Berbatov and Carlos Tevez. I think that Berbatov should leave Manchester United as he was the leauges top scorer but was left out of the most important game of the season when Manchester United lost 3-1 to Barcelona and Michael Owen was picked ahead of him on the bench. Carlos Tevez said he would stay if his family moved and lived in Manchester. But if i was the Tevez's I wouldnt move from sunny Argentina to live in Manchester so I dont imagen Carlos would be playing at Eastlands next season but he will be a massive miss for Manchester City.

Arsenal also need improving if they want to finish higher than 4th and win a trophy. With the likes of Gary Cahill and Scott Parker joining would be great for the team. They would also need to buy a striker as Robin Van Persie is an injury prone player and with Chamak and Bendtner not settling into the squad they will find it hard to score if they have no RVP to get them goals. I think Pedro from Barcelona would be a great signing as G.Rossi looks to be Barcelona's new striker and if Fabregas does go to Barcelona then they could try and get a player out of it. I dont think Fabregas would fit in to either Real Madrid or Barcelona squad becuase Arsenal are very reliable on him in the middle of the pitch but both sqauds have very good midfielders wheather it be Xabi Alonso and Ozil or Xavi and Iniesta.

Manchester United will have to strengthen there midfield after Scholes has retierd. It has baffeled me that Manchester United have won this many titles with Carrick and Fletcher in the middle of the park. I think they are pretty average midfielders that wigan or wolves would 'be happy' to have but like always the manager knows best so Fergie has stuck with them and they have won 19 titles. So they need to strengthen that area they dont need any strikers as they have Hernadez, Rooney, Berbatov and Owen who can all score goals.

Liverpool will need to strengthen there wingers and there left back area. If Liverpool capture Stewart Downing, Jordan Henderson, Jose Enrique and Mario Gomez then they should get back into the top 4 and hopefully win a trophy. Liverpool are attracking a lot of young britsh players but they will need some experience in there otherwise they will drop there position and what they need is someone who can play the ball and hold it when needed. Liverpool have always done well when they have had a good player there, last season Mascherano and before him Xabi Alonso who was hugley infulential when he got Liverpool up to 2nd postion in the league. Liverpool have done very well since Kenny Daglish and Luis Suarez joined the club and I hope next season if they buy the correct players and Gerrard is fit for the whole of the season and Carroll gets a good player who can deliver the ball for him then they can provale in the 2011/12 season.
