Swansea City 0-1 Stoke City: Bojan’s early penalty gave Stoke all three points over a lacklustre Swansea side.
Stoke win back to back away matches for the first time since December 2011, to see Mark Hughes side move up to 11th position leapfrogging their opponents.
Garry Monk’s Swansea side failed to get into their usual rhythm of passing and never looked like creating many chances on this Monday night affair.
The Welsh club are now five games without a win and have lost their first game at the Liberty Stadium this season.
Ashley Williams had a bad evening and it all started when Bojan tried to get around the Welsh captain and took the Spaniard him down in the box.
Bojan smashed the penalty into the top right hand corner sending Lukasz Fabianski the wrong way.
Jack Butland loose pass ended up at the feet of Andre Ayew, but the young English goalkeeper threw himself into the challenge to win the ball back and was very lucky not to receive a yellow card let alone not give a foul away.
Jonjo Shelvey had the best chance of the second half when he rolled past the Stoke defender and drilled the ball past Butland but hit the post.
Marko Arnautovic had the ball in the net after a cross from Erik Pieters down Swansea’s right side, but the linesman was quick to raise his flag as it was ruled out for offside.
